Fire Up Your Engines, Because Garfield Is Waiting for You at the Starting Line! Play as one of the eight cult characters from the Garfield universe, fill up your karts, customize your look, and race away at breakneck speeds.
While there is no native macOS version, the game runs nearly perfectly through translation layers like CrossOver or Whisky due to its modest hardware requirements.
What the world thinks
- Install CrossOver 24+.
- Create a new bottle named "Garfield Kart" using the Windows 10 64-bit template.
- Install the Steam desktop application within that bottle.
- Within Steam, download and install Garfield Kart - Furious Racing.
- Before launching, go to the bottle settings in the right sidebar and ensure D3DMetal (GPTK) or DXVK is toggled ON.
- The game should launch directly. Gamepads (DualSense/Xbox) are highly recommended and should be recognized automatically.
- Whisky (Free): This is a great alternative to CrossOver. Create a bottle, install Steam, and enable the 'Retina Mode' if the UI appears too small. Performance is nearly identical to CrossOver since both utilize the Game Porting Toolkit.
